Introduction to Robotics with Ozobots

Pre-requisite: no prior programming knowledge required

Grades: 1st - 3rd

Tuesdays 6:30PM - 7:30PM

Jan 2019 - Feb 2019 (8 weeks)


  • A curriculum specifically designed for our youngest technology leaders to introduce them to fundamentals of robotics using Ozobots.
  • ​Students program the color sensing Robots to solve numerous logical challenges.
  • They apply individual creativity to asks resulting in a diverse set of solutions from each student.


Lego EV3 Robotics Fundamentals
Pre-requisite: no prior programming knowledge required
Min Grade: 3rd

Tuesdays / Wednesdays 6:30PM - 7:30PM


Jan 2019 - March 2019 (10 weeks)

  • Students learn fundamentals of robotics as they program multiple sensors and motors to solve many logical challenges using the Lego EV3 Mindstorm.
  • They learn about the nuances of code interacting with physical machines while anticipating and managing associated imperfections.
  • ​They solve many challenges including a final project that they present to a group of peers and parents.


Advanced Robotics with Lego EV3 Mindstorm
Pre-requisite: Prior experience with Lego EV3 programming or Grades 6+
Min Grade: 4th
Tuesdays 6:30PM - 7:30PM


Jan 2019 - March 2019 (12 weeks)

  • Students learn advanced programming techniques to solve challenges of high complexity.
  • They program multiple sensors to function together and work on challenges requiring longer and more complex operations.
  • At the end of this course, students take a significant leap into becoming more creative and independent while working on Robotics.
  • ​The most challenging, creative and advanced Robotics program offered in the galaxy.


​Mobile App design and development
Pre-requisite: 6+ months of prior programming experience 
Min Grade: 4th

Online class. Mondays 6:30PM - 7:30PM

Jan 2019 - March 2019 (10 weeks)

  • Students program multiple sensors on a mobile phone or tablet as they learn the fundamentals of designing and coding apps and games on Android.
  • The fully functioning apps and games students build can be shared with family, friends and published on Google Play Store.

Website Design and Development

Pre-requisite:  no prior programming knowledge required
Min Grade: 3rd

Online class. Thursdays 6:30PM - 7:30PM

  • Students learn fundamentals of HTML and rapid development tools to design, build and publish their own website.
  • Students learn some of the best practices in design that they implement on their website while expanding their individual creativity and imagination.

Visual Game and Application programming in Javascript
Pre-requisite: 12+ months of prior programming experience OR Grades 6 and higher
Min Grade: 5th

  • For students ready to take a leap into mature native language programming.
  • Build fully functioning web applications using the all powerful yet simple Javascript platform.
  • Students design and build practical applications and games that are completely web based.
  • Great platform to enable students to start/ continue the journey of independent programming and building applications. that can be easily published and shared for a broader audience. A leading path to entrepreneurship.


Computer Science: Introduction to Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
Pre-requisite: 12+ months of prior programming experience in a native language (C++, JAVA, Python etc) and Grades 8+
Min Grade: 8th
Online Class. Fridays 5:30PM - 7:00PM

  • This is a course designed for your curious child in Grades 8 or higher who is demonstrating immense passion for technology and computer science.
  • A unique course to give students an early introduction to the fundamentals of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, the breakthrough advancements in the field of Data Science.
  • Students will code in Python and apply statistical concepts to pattern recognition and build self learning prediction and classification models.
  • The pacing of the course assumes no prior experience with the topic and will patiently go deep into the cutting edge domain of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
  • Content covered is usually taught in undergrad Computer Science.Type your paragraph here.

​​​​​​​Learning CODING is not hard at all for kids these days. In fact, if you are just looking for your child to learn CODING, we would not advise you to spend money on any workshop or program. There are plenty of free resources available online that will teach your child some CODING in less than a month.

Why then, you may ask, do we offer such a rich technology offering here at Thinking Feet?
At Thinking Feet, unlike many other workshops, we do not believe in spoon feeding code....we do not simply tell students what to do. Many programs take that approach but there your child is essentially learning how to follow instructions...in technology.
At Thinking Feet, we do hold their hands in the early learning stages but very soon we let our students lead the way through a unique classroom methodology that fostersbrainstorming creative thinking and technology leadership.

The genesis of our curriculum and classroom methodology,STEMs(pun intended) from an objective of developingproblem solvingandcreative thinking aptitudein our students. Our goal is to instill in students the strategies and confidence to embrace any new technology platform and innovate by conceptualizing ideas, coding them and solving through problems as they emerge.

Our students learn to take risks & chances, and embrace failure along the way to learning and success. This has implications beyond just technology enrichment.
This journey of coaching and development takes time, which is why our programs span 8 - 12 weeks per unit. To meet this objective, we develop our own curriculum...none of the available online curriculum (free or paid) come even close to what we offer.

What do our classrooms look like?
In our classrooms, you will find a lot of hand raising, diverse set of ideas and thoughts flying all across....students experimenting, making mistakes and learning as they go along....The energy is palpable. Students learn as much if not more from each other's diversity of thought, as they do from the coach.
